As I have curly hair, I always find it hard to settle in on one shampoo because some of the shampoos I’ve tried out in the past made my hair feel further dried out and coarse. 

But once I tried the Shea Moisture shampoo I have to say that my hair started to feel renewed again. It deep cleansed my hair and for sure helped get rid of a lot of the product buildup on the scalp.-

I used this along with the Shea Moisture Conditioner and it was the perfect combination for my hair. My hair felt hydrated again and it considerably reduced my hair breakage, by locking the moisture in the strand and sealing the hair cuticles.

What I loved the most was that it had natural ingredients like peppermint (which also gave the shampoo its fragrance), Jamaican black castor oil that helped repair my hair. Curly hair is also moisture deprived because the natural oils from the scalp do not reach the entire length of the hair and using regular shampoos often makes the hair dry out further. 

Therefore, I chose to use a dry shampoo between washes and I’m so glad I picked the Klorane Shampoo because it really helped my hair feel refreshed on days which otherwise would make me have a bad hair day, as it would stand really greasy and limp.

This shampoo is harvested with organic oat milk and this really soothed my scalp. 

Using this dry shampoo helped get rid of the excess oil and greasiness from my scalp and hair and it was completely sulfate and paraben free which is something that I always look for in a shampoo.

I would like to make a mention that the product details did assure no residue formation, while this product did leave some residue after I sprayed it on.

But the good part is that after brushing my hair; it did dust off relatively quickly and was quite negligible thereafter.

Curly hair often tends to get greasy and oily near the scalp and this is definitely a common problem I face. 

Once I bought the Maple Holistics shampoo, it reduced the product build up and greasy residue on my scalp that caused clogging of the hair follicles and considerably improved my hair growth. 

The reason I decided to try out this shampoo is because it is known to be best suited for curly, oily or coily hair, which well includes my hair type.

What I found that this shampoo felt very gentle on my hair and didn’t strip away the moisture, instead it made my hair feel more nourished and it gave my hair a very vibrant look, while also considerably increasing my hair volume, something that I definitely needed, as coily hair can often stand limp.

Two things that I really liked about this shampoo is that it is completely sulfate and paraben free and also, its fragrance. I am a lover of the lemon fragrance and this shampoo has that subtle smell.

I also need to make a mention about how well this shampoo degreased my hair that I could even go days without having to wash it and without even having to use a dry shampoo, because as research states, coily hair shouldn’t be washed too often.

If you are something with curly and colour-treated hair, like me, then this shampoo would work well for you. It helped reduce my hair fall, as it kept tangles at bay, which meant so many lesser strands lost during hair brushing.

Some of the ingredients this shampoo has is what drew me towards buying it. 

Ingredients like bamboo fibers, castor oil, neem extract, aloe vera juice and coconut water (what gives this shampoo its smell) definitely make a good combination and it worked well on my hair.

After using this shampoo my hair looked really nourished and kept it well moisturized. Using this shampoo considerably revived my hair and reduced my hair fall by strengthening my weak hair strands.

The only thing that I didn’t like very much was the smell of coconut on my hair, but luckily the smell was negligible and did wear off as my hair began to dry up.

This shampoo is completely free from sulfates, parabens and surfactants and has the added benefit of being reasonably priced.

To sum up my Maui thicken and restore shampoo review, I only need to make a mention about the texture and consistency which was relatively thick as compared to other such shampoos and that was something I disliked, personally.

Well, Carol’s Daughter shampoo was perfect for my hair because it contains none of these harsh chemicals and balanced out the moisture even after a hair wash.

I’d like to particularly make a mention of some of the ingredients I liked, because there were quite a few natural ingredients which are rare to find in shampoos these days. 

There are ingredients like vanilla, aloe vera, sage, shea butter, clove and lavender.

I simply loved the vanilla smell of this shampoo because every time I used it my hair smelled so fresh. 

Another good thing about this shampoo is that it is so moisturizing for the hair, it can really make the hair feel soft.

I also want to make a mention about the texture and consistency of this product, which was totally perfect. 

Considering the fact that it is reasonably priced, I just went for it without having any second thoughts and it worked out perfectly in my favour.

If you’re someone with brittle hair like me then choose this shampoo. It worked perfectly in repairing my damaged hair and strengthened my hair considerably, reducing my hair breakage and brittleness.

I used this shampoo along with its conditioner and it made my hair feel so moisturized and smooth and it kept getting better after each wash. 

My coily hair used to often stand dull and limp and using the OGX shampoo brought back life to my hair and made it look so voluminous and full.
