The one thing that I take as a downside is its drying time, it takes some real extra time to dry, and until then, it feels heavy on your head. 

Also, the fragrance that it has is a bit fruity, so although I loved it, a few of my smell sensitive friends weren’t taking it that great. So, it has a bit stronger smell for people with sensitivity.

I used this gel after shampooing and conditioning my curls and then applied it to the wet hair and then dried them first with microfiber towels for like 15 minutes and then an air dryer. 

It worked just fine, and my hair was really shiny, curls defined, and frizz-free as well. Adding to that, this product adds so much to my hair that I rarely go for the diffuser, and it is just amazing. 

Also, one thing that you would like to do is keep the amount small, as small goes a long way and keeps your twists from feeling heavy on your head. 

The only issue with this product too is its smell, I mean, it’s not bad if you like the flavor of vanilla, but if you don’t, you might not use this product again.

Before someone suggested this popular brand, I was experimenting with Cantu Coconut Cream, but there weren’t any positive results coming out of that, plus it made me smell like some beach vacation all the time. 

All you need to do is apply a generous amount (according to your hair) on your wet hair and dry it well, and you are ready to rock your twists. At least that’s how I apply it, and it really works great. 

It also helps with the moisture, keeps the frizz away, and will give you pretty defined curls each time you use it. Adding to that, it has a clean scent to it that is more floral, and it makes my hair feel fresh. 

Also, one thing I would like to add to this product’s downside is the fact that it leads to build-up on your scalp, so after using this product, you would need a real good cleansing shampoo to get rid of it thoroughly. Otherwise, this product is amazing.
