When applied to the scalp, lavender water can help stimulate hair growth while reducing

inflammation and promoting shine.

To use lavender water as a hairstyling product, you’ll need:

-A small bottle or container of lavender flower water (if you’re using it on your own hair),

-Some distilled white vinegar (or another acidic ingredient),

-Hair conditioner of your choice ( condense or liquid ),

-A spritz Bottle with an atomizer/sprayer attachment , and finally…

Step three: Let dry completely before style as usual. And there you have the perfect refreshed hair!

Dispense the liquid into your hands and massage it into your scalp until it’s fully absorbed. Leave the solution on your head for at least 30 minutes before shampooing to allow the oils to work their magic!

Lavender water is an excellent way to nourish and hydrate your hair. When used regularly, lavender water can help improve the appearance of hair texture, density, shine, and resilience. Additionally, it has been known to reduce stress levels and promote relaxation. Here are a few tips on how to use lavender water for hair:

– Add 5-10 drops of lavender oil to a cup of hot (not boiling) tap water or cold (not ice) juice every morning before showering. Let the mixture steep for at least 10 minutes before using it as you shampoo your hair.

– Add 2 tablespoons of dried or fresh chopped lavender like flower spikes (or 1 tablespoon each of dried rosemary sprigs and dried basil leaves) to 8 ounces/250 ml of distilled carrier oil such as grapeseed oil or jojoba seed oil and massage into the scalp and daily before bedtime for increased shedding prevention during sleep

Using lavender oil in rice water can also help mask the starchy smell of rice water in hair.

The lavender oil also helps add antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties to the rice water making it doubly beneficial for hair.

Lavender oil helps control dandruff, redness, itchiness and tenderness on the scalp. It can also help improve blood circulation on your scalp and improve hair growth.

If you want to mix rice water and lavender oil, you can follow these steps:

  • Soak rice in a cup of water overnight. Let this mixture sit for 2-3 days to allow it to ferment. This increases the amount of antioxidants in the rice water.
  • Take the rice out and strain out the water, add a few drops of lavender essential oil to this rice water
  • Apply it to the hair and scalp and keep it on for 2-3 hours and wash it off. You can either shampoo and condition after this step or keep the rice water as a rinse to be used after shampooing. This depends on your hair and preferences.

Conclusion

Lavender water is not the same as lavender essential oil. The oil is found by distilling the flower spikes in the lavender plant and extracting the oil while the lavender water is a sort of concentrated tea made by mixing water and lavender flowers.

The botanical lavender water is gentle and has a milder fragrance than the lavender oil. So it can be used directly on the scalp which is something you cannot do with essential oils.

You can use lavender water on your hair directly as a mask or a rinse, or mix it with other ingredients.

What ingredients you choose to create your DIY lavender water recipes will depend on your hair’s needs and texture.
