This product was definitely a good buy for me because it had a lot of plus points! It was very easy to use and dyed my hair within just 20 minutes of application.
It gave my hair a good shine and I found it gentle on my hair.
I did have to bleach my dark brown hair before using this product because its suggested use is only on ultra-light blonde hair.
So if you’re looking for something for your dark blonde hair, I’d suggest going elsewhere as this isn’t a high lift dye!
I’d like to say that this dye was semi-permanent because the color lasted for around 3 weeks on my hair before it started fading.
And that was also with me using a sulfate-free shampoo. So that was a bit of a bummer.
However, what I loved about this product is that it contains no ammonia or parabens, which is something I always look for in any hair dye.
So if you have light blonde hair and are looking for that perfect platinum shade temporarily, this is it.

I was drawn towards buying this product because this hair brand promised a 7-level hair-lift, to get the platinum blonde final result.
At first I was skeptical, but after using Garnier I can for sure say that it did a good job at lightening my dark brown hair to a platinum blonde color. So, it did live up to its promise.
A lot of times blonde shades feel hard to maintain, but this product has a conditioner that comes along with it and is also infused with three oils. This really helped keep brassiness at bay.
What I did not like about this product is that the bleach felt quite harsh on my hair and scalp.
If you’re going to want a strong high lift dye, I suppose you’re going to have to deal with consequences. Sigh.
I wouldn’t recommend this product for those with color-treated hair, as it could end up in your hair looking brassy. Also if you have previously bleached or chemically processed your hair, consult a hairstylist before using this product. It is way too strong.

The reason I selected this product is because of its three-step dyeing process. It came with a kit that took care of my hair throughout the process as it included a pre-treatment cream, coloring cream and post-treatment cream.
So, this took care of my hair health quite well and my hair had a renewed shine after I dyed it.
Dyeing and bleaching can really take a toll on your hair, so this was a nice little treat.
What I really liked about this product is that it was free from parabens and contained no ammonia either. This means, it is not a high lift dye and you will have to first bleach your hair before application.
So, it was not harsh on my hair and also had no smell of any chemicals, which was definitely a plus for me.
Overall, I really liked this product and felt like my hair was salon dyed! And anything gentle and low on chemicals is always welcome.

Well, there are a lot of things I liked about this product. For one, I could use this dye without any developer and I could also use it with my conditioner to adjust the brightness of the shade as to my liking.
I really liked how this dye smelt, subtle and not a strong fragrance like many other dyes.
For a semi-permanent dye, it lasted quite long. It took my hair around 4 weeks after it was dyed for it to start fading with regular washing of hair (using regular shampoos as well).
Another thing I liked about using this product is that it didn’t stain my skin upon usage.
The only thing I didn’t like was the formula of the product. It is liquid in consistency and makes it slightly difficult to use.
But I considered that aspect negligible because I was happy with the other aspects of this product as it suited my hair just fine!
I was apprehensive of how it would work on my dark brown hair, but well, it did! I think it would show up better on bleached blonde hair too!
Also, the fact that the product didn’t contain any ammonia or peroxide, got this brand a plus on my list of buys. So, if you are looking for a semi-permanent dye, this one can be your pick!

Since Revlon has always been a reputed brand for hair dyes, I chose this one, but I have to say that it did disappoint me. The only thing that I liked was its ammonia and paraben free formula that really worked well on my hair and made my hair feel soft and smooth once it was dyed.
But the product promised hair lift up 5 to 7 levels and that’s something I looked forward to as I have dark brown hair.
But unfortunately, that didn’t work out for me, as my hair color was too dark for this dye or that’s at least what I feel after I used this product.
My hair color for sure didn’t turn out the platinum shade I was expecting it to be.
So, if I have to recommend this product to anyone, I would suggest that you have lighter natural hair as it doesn’t work well on dark hair.
