So finally, here’s my review – I am super impressed! Yes, you read that right. I really liked this shampoo and it worked well on my hair perfectly along with its conditioner.

It has been around a month now since I started using this product. Well, previously, my curly hair was damaged, dry and brittle and was also coloured.

What I liked about this product is that it did not fade my coloured hair at all. Two weeks into using this shampoo, along with its conditioner, my hair began to feel softer and way smoother than it was before.

It began to feel very fresh and looked rejuvenated, as compared to its previously lifeless look.

Since my hair is curly, it used to be super hard for me to manage at times (especially after it was washed) and get rid of the tangles. Well, after using this shampoo and conditioner, that process was a smooth sailing one for me.

I noticed that my hair strength had increased considerably because I observed that my hair fall had also reduced, while the breakage too had reduced as well. My hair became less frizzy and felt more nourished.

The shampoo felt super gentle on my sensitive scalp and I loved that it contained absolutely no sulfates or parabens.

A couple of things I didn’t like about the product is that the shampoo didn’t lather very well, while the fragrance was rather strong, even though it didn’t smell like anything specific.

Talking about the pricing, well, it is definitely affordable, because it comes in a set with both the shampoo and conditioner. So I felt that it was worth it in my opinion.

I bought the product off of Amazon and there’s where I read in the product description that it also contained the ingredient vitamin E oil, but this ingredient wasn’t mentioned in the  ingredient list on the bottle.

While some shampoos have great cleansing abilities, they sometimes leave a residue behind. This is something I totally detest, because shampoos are supposed to cleanse the hair and not leave behind a residue.

Some shampoos cleanse the hair well, but feel harsh on the scalp and hair. Well, my scalp is relatively sensitive and therefore, I look out for products free from sulfates and parabens, so that it will feel gentle on my scalp and hair.

Safety of use on colour-treated hair:

Like I have mentioned earlier, my hair has been through a lot of dyeing and finding a shampoo to specifically suit colour-treated hair without fading the colour is rare. So this is an aspect I always consider.

Fragrance:

I am someone who totally dislikes harsh scents; they literally give me a free headache! So yes, a mild fragrance is something I look for in a shampoo and conditioner.

Pricing:

My ideal price range would be $10 to $15 for a shampoo. This is relatively fair, in my opinion. Sometimes if the shampoo is coupled with its conditioner or is one that is highly rated in terms of its benefits, I do not mind paying a little extra for the product.

The product has directions for use. It is simple and similar to how you’d use any other shampoo and conditioner for the hair. 

But since this shampoo is creamy in consistency, I would suggest that you dilute it with a little water before using it on your hair as you will get a better lathering effect.

Once you have shampooed your hair, make sure to rinse off the shampoo well before conditioning your hair.
