Here’s my review of Shea Moisture Daily Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner. It contains 100 percent coconut oil and is super moisturizing for hair.

I have straight hair and often felt envious of those who could use the Shea Moisture range of shampoos for their hair because most of their shampoos are specifically formulated for curly hair types.

So when I saw this Shea Moisture Daily Hydration Shampoo, which on the product read – “For all hair types”, I was super excited and had to try it out! Here’s my review.

I am so glad that I finally got to use a Shea Moisture shampoo which I have been waiting for ages to try! I can finally say that I have found “the one” in terms of the shampoo I will continue using for my hair because it worked wonders on my straight hair!

Even though my hair is straight, it wasn’t smooth silky hair (like you see in the advertisements!). It was dry because it had been through a number of colour and heat treatments and yes, that’s on me!

So, I am so thankful that this superb shampoo was able to fix my hair within a matter of two months (of usage) and today my hair feels so much more smoother and silkier. It made my hair feel more manageable over time.

This shampoo helped moisturize my hair very well and reduced dryness considerably, wherein I saw the results within the first week of usage and my hair texture kept improving over the months.

This shampoo lathers really well (especially when I use it after diluting it with a little water) and it gives a good foam making the massaging process way easier. It is a great hair and scalp cleanser.

It is free from sulfates and parabens and this is something that I really liked, not just because it felt gentle on my hair and sensitive scalp (and didn’t cause any irritation), but it also worked well for my coloured hair.

It didn’t fade my hair colour drastically, so that was a plus. I did experience a little hair colour fading, but that I felt is normal even with the use of any other shampoo as well.

Talking about the fragrance, well, I am not a huge fan of the smell of coconut, so yes, I was a little apprehensive about the smell. But luckily for me, the smell of the coconut was not overpowering at all and it made my hair feel fresh once it dried.

Coming to the pricing, it was a little out of my budget, to be honest, but since it offered promising results I went in for it and looks like I paid the price for the benefits and I have absolutely no regrets! So definitely buying this product again!
