Being a long-time user of the Infusium shampoo, I was also quite disappointed to hear the rumors that they may be discontinued.
So, I did my own digging, over the internet and also checked in local stores and the good news is that the Infusium shampoo has not been discontinued!
Yes, they are still very much available online on various e-commerce sites and their official website also directs you to websites like Walmart, Publix, H-E-B, Amazon and Rite Aid Pharmacy, where their Infusium products are still available for sale.
But here’s something for information sake. So, Infusium shampoo was discontinued in the year 2009 for a short period of time until 2011. This was when its original manufacturer Procter & Gamble discontinued it, but it was later brought back into the market by Idelle Labs, with the same name, but with different formulas to match different hair types.
So, if you visit any local Walmart store, you will still be able to buy this shampoo off the shelf.

I have been a user of the Infusium shampoo for many years now and this product has worked really well for me! In fact, when I heard the speculations about this shampoo being discontinued, I was quite worried about which other brand could suit my hair this well.
But luckily for me and for the other users of this brand, the Infusium shampoo is still very much for sale and us users are super happy about it indeed!
I use the Infusium Moisturize + Replenish shampoo that contains avocado and olive oil and the product is just great and perfect for my hair!
I initially bought it as a set of the shampoo and conditioner together and once used it without conditioning my hair after, as my conditioner was over. Well, the results were still great! So that’s when I switched to only shampooing my hair using this shampoo and would deep condition my hair and use hair masks from time to time.
My hair used to be severely damaged due to my frequent heat styling and hair coloring treatments, but after using this shampoo, my dry hair felt more moisturized. Also, I felt like my hair was way more smoother than before I started using this product.
I loved the sulfate-free formula because it didn’t strip my hair off its moisture, unlike my previous shampoo. The formula is mild and gentle on the hair.

Is Infusium Shampoo Sulfate-Free?
