I couldn’t believe something like this even existed and at first I thought my eyes tricked me, but then I realized I had actually read it right and just decided to buy it.
Well, did it live up to my expectations? Yes, it did! It actually served two purposes!

So let me first talk about how the shampoo worked on me. Well, I have to say that it did a great job at cleansing my hair.
It got rid of quite a lot of the buildup from my scalp and hair (and it has been a little over a month that I have been using this shampoo).
I was apprehensive that the sulfates in the shampoo would dry out my hair, but it didn’t really damage my hair. In fact, my hair began to feel soft once I started using this shampoo. I also began to experience the growth of new hair as well.
It suited my colour-treated hair quite well too. It did not fade my hair colour drastically, but just a little and that’s something that I had expected would happen.
The smell of this shampoo is supposed to be the smell of apples. Well, while I wouldn’t say it smelled like apples, it has a mild smell that made my hair smell great once it dried.
This shampoo lathered well and left no residue on my hair, so that is something I loved!
Unfortunately, when I bought this shampoo, the conditioner wasn’t in stock at that time. So I ended up buying just the shampoo and used my old conditioner to condition my hair.
Coming to the pricing aspect, what I liked is that I didn’t have to buy a separate shampoo for bathing my dogs and I could use the same one that I used on my hair.
So even though it is slightly on the expensive side, I thought it was feasible enough as it saved me the amount I’d spend on a separate animal shampoo.
But one thing I realized only after I started using this shampoo is the fact that I could have bought it directly from the Mane ‘n Tail website for a much cheaper cost of $9.99. So maybe you guys could consider this before buying your shampoo.
Can I Use The Mane N Tail Shampoo on My Dogs
Talking about how well this shampoo worked on my dogs, well, I have two dogs and I have used this shampoo on their coats just twice up until now.
Well, it worked pretty well, I must say. Their coats felt clean and smelled fresh. It actually made their coats feel softer once I used this shampoo on them.
This shampoo lathered very well when I used it on my dogs’ wet coat. So this made it super easy for me to bathe them.
