So finally I tried it out and here’s my experience after using it for two months now along with a detailed review.

My fine hair is colour-treated and is prone to getting greasy very easily. So no matter whichever shampoo I used in the past, my hair would stand flat and limp.

So what I loved is that once I started using this shampoo, my hair began to feel more voluminous and looked luscious.

It made my hair feel soft and smooth, which made it manageable to brush and tamed frizz to a great extent.

This shampoo comes in a liquid form and lathers very well. I love the foam it creates, making it very easy for me to massage it into my scalp and hair.

I rinse it off under running water thoroughly and find that no residue remains on my hair at all.

It also cleanses the grease, dirt and buildup on my scalp and hair effectively.

The shampoo contains no harsh chemicals like parabens or sulfates, thus it felt super gentle on my sensitive scalp.

The itchiness on my scalp that I’d often face earlier while using other shampoos completely stopped once I started using the Aveeno Fresh Greens Blend Shampoo.

The conditioner contains no silicones and this is one of the main reasons why it made my hair feel luscious and gave it volume, as the conditioner didn’t weigh down my locs.

I had to agree with the popular Youtuber UKBeautyroom who said that the conditioner is moisturizing but not particularly “slippery” and gives volume to hair after using and doesn’t weigh it down. It also has a “light peppermint scent but not as much as the shampoo”.

Even though the product description stated that this shampoo is made for colour-treated hair, I happened to see that this shampoo contained the ingredient “glycerin”, which made me a little apprehensive to try it out because glycerin is known to fade dye.

But nevertheless, I did a little bit of my own research and found out that glycerin fades colour only if the hair is recently dyed and waiting a couple of days before using a glycerin-infused shampoo wouldn’t do your hair colour any harm.

So since my hair was dyed over a week prior, I felt it was safe to try out this shampoo and luckily enough for me, it didn’t fade my hair colour drastically at all, just very minimally, as I expected.

As for the fragrance of this shampoo, I fell in love with the smell.

It is not too mild, but neither is it too overwhelming. It was just right and my hair felt super fresh after it was washed and had dried up.

Talking about the pricing, I really felt that this shampoo was reasonable and affordably priced.

Even if you just want to go in for the shampoo alone, it is lesser than $10, which is very cost effective.

I keep trying out many products for my hair and review them so that others can benefit from my experiences.
