It was acquired by Henkel in 1995 and has become one of the world’s most successful hair care brands ever since.
Another interesting fact is that Schwarzkopf was the first company to invent liquid shampoo, powder shampoo, and hairspray.
The company still keeps innovating and elevating its formulas and hair care products to keep their promise to inspire and celebrate the uniqueness of every individual.
I personally think what makes the company so successful is the key competencies that it stands for like quality, innovation, trust, reliability and competence.

Application for color hair
Both Matrix and Schwarzkopf have a wide range of color products that have slightly similar packaging and forms that come with gloves and a developer container Both brands have some form of pre-treatment to be mixed in their supplied container before adding their unique products.
Schwarzkopf Gliss Ultimate Color Shampoo V/S Matrix Biolage Colour Care Shampoo
The reason why I chose to review these two products is that they are specially designed for color-treated hair and I found them more effective than other shampoos I used.
They also worked well and did not cause any unnecessary dryness for my hair and retained my hair gloss and shine.
Most of the Schwarzkopf shampoo bottles that I have seen come in the same shape except for their color. I really love the big 400 ml size and its bright red colored plastic bottle.
The Matrix Shampoo Bottle comes in an elegant white color bottle and 200 ml in size. Both shampoos have a cute flip-flop top.
The Schwarzkopf shampoo lathers quite well and I was totally impressed by how great it was to clean my oily scalp in just one wash.
I found the texture a little too creamy for my liking but it’s pretty okay to be honest. I fell in love with the fragrance as it smelled so fresh and no kidding, it lasted for at least two days.
This Matrix shampoo comes with a creamy texture, and I love how it lathers well. The smell was quite overpowering according to me, but certainly not unpleasant.
You can head over to amazon and buy a small quantity first to check and see if it works for you. The Schwarzkopf shampoo costs around 7 dollars for 250 ml and the Matrix Shampoo costs around 37 dollars for 200 ml.
Since I always get my hair color done at the salon, I am very picky about the shampoos and aftercare. When it comes to shampoos, my demands are simple: it should clean my oily scalp and it should give my hair that extra bounce and shine.
To my surprise, the Schwarzkopf shampoo fulfilled both demands. You see, color protect shampoos can be quite moisturizing and this one is no exception.
I love how it helped in terms of retaining my hair color and providing my hair with the hydration it requires.
On the other hand, the Matrix shampoo did protect my color-treated hair a tad bit better than ordinary shampoos. However, it did not clean my oily scalp as well as the first product did.
But, it did retain the shiny look and vibrance that I wanted, and I loved how it’s totally paraben free. When I used it the first time without the conditioner, my hair felt dry, so when I paired it with the conditioner I found my hair much smoother and shiner.

It would be better to use Schwarzkopf after hair smoothening because they offer better products in this regard.
Both Matrix and Schwarzkopf are professionally accredited brands but in terms of this factor, Schwarzkopf products have a cream consistency so it lathers properly and is better than Matrix in terms of coverage.
Both are winners in this factor as they offer customers a wide range of natural and sustainable products. This brand has incredible products to help with hair strengthening and making it stronger.
They also offer shampoos and conditioners to make your hair smooth and glossy, making it more manageable and tangle-free. Their products are available in more than 130 countries.
